Inmate Apprehended Following Escape
Dampeer was being held on a strong armed robbery charge. He was arrested Wednesday after a female was held up in a parking lot by the county courthouse. He made his initial court appearance Friday morning.
According to Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp, authorities were able to locate Dampeer near Pachuta after receiving a call from a residence off Highway 18. Dampeer had traveled nine miles from the jail following his escape.
Dampeer will be charged with felony escape, which carries a mandatory sentence of five years, on top of any other prison term he might receive on the previous charge,
If you are in jail then you have given up your rights! The problem today is there is not enough consiquences to go with the crime. Take a flight over to Saudi Arabia and steel some something, it's off with your hand. I am not saying the US needs to do that but they certainly don't need to give a convict 3 meals, an air conditioner, an play time.
