A product subject to meat giant Cargill's recall of 36 million pounds of ground turkey linked to a nationwide salmonella outbreak is shown. Cargill said that it is recalling fresh and frozen ground turkey products produced at the company's Springdale, Ark., plant from Feb. 20 through Aug. 2 due to possible contamination from the strain of salmonella linked to the illnesses. The packages were labeled with many different brands.    More than 30 products are affected by the recall, including products under the brand names of Honeysuckle, Giant Eagle and Fit & Active.Articles in the recall bear the establishment number "P 963," within the U.S. Department of Agriculture mark of inspection. The recall includes products with a use or freeze by date of beginning the 20 February 2011 until the end of August.
