I’m off for a family vacation. My suitcase is packed with anticipation and prayers for safe travels, great memories and loads of sunshine. Since we’re going somewhere that July 4th is not celebrated, I’ve even packed a little flag. I’ll fly it prouldy from my beach chair!
Independence Day is my 2nd favorite holiday, right behind Christmas. No other holiday involves blowing things up in the sky to produce Ooohs and Ahhhhs!
Seriously, July 4th is a favorite for what it representss–our ancestors declaring Freedom from Tyranny.
