Rheinson-Jenkins wedding - Gaston Gazette

Janna Ashley Jenkins and Maxim Rheinson were married at half past six o’clock in the evening on June 25, 2011, at The Rock Quarry at Carrigan Farms in Mooresville. Pastor Jeff Long of Parkwood Baptist Church officiated the ceremony. A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held immediately following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Jenkins of Belmont. She is the granddaughter of Launa Shannon of Dallas and LaVerne Jenkins of Gastonia. Janna is a graduate of Gaston Christian High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she was an Education major. She is employed by Gaston County Schools as a teacher at Page Primary and a varsity cheerleading coach at South Point High School.

The bridegroom is the son of Ms. Galina Rheinson of Battleground, Washington, and the late Mr. Robert Rheinson. He is the grandson of Vera Kosinkova of Rezan, Russia. Maxim, a graduate of American High School, is attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He served four years in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family. Matron of honor was the bride’s sister-in-law, Kierstin Jenkins of Gastonia. Bridesmaids were Karrin Rheinson and Linda Rheinson, both of Battleground, Abby Adams and Aryn Adams, both of Bessemer City, Erica Smith of Boone, Crystal Russell of Belmont and Meagan Robinson of Salisbury. Honorary attendants were Megan and Lou Zepeda of Concord. Flower girl was the bride’s niece, Zoe Jenkins of Gastonia.

Groomsmen were Tavin Hummel and Wesley Baker of Mount Holly, Adam Smith, Bryan Jenkins and Joseph Coiro, all of Gastonia, Shane Jenkins and Todd Jenkins, both of Belmont, and Pete Marinello of Frederick, Maryland.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by family and held at the home of the bride.

The couple honeymooned with a trip to Charleston, South Carolina, and a cruise to the Bahamas.
